Nick Ryan - Men’s Chair
What year did you join CHC? 2008
Board member since: 2021 November
What is your career/background? Firefighter
Why did you join the Board? To make a positive change to all those involved in the club.
Hobbies / interests outside hockey: Running, walking, lounging on the beach, playing golf & eating ice cream
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Speak a foreign language
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Neil Armstrong
Favourite Food? Banh Mi. - Crispy Pork
Name one thing most people won't know about you? As a child I fell off a wall bare footed onto an Echidna

Susan Cannell - Appointed Board Member
What year did you join CHC? 2015
Board member since: 2020ish - first as an observer
What is your career/background? In hockey…competitive social. Outside of hockey the sport continues - I’ve worked as a PE teacher, Personal Trainer, Manager Recreation Centre…and continue in this space working with clubs, sport and recreation within Local Government.
Why did you join the Board? To be able to further support the club and members and everything we do. CHC is such an active and involved club and it’s great to be able to contribute to that in some form.
Hobbies / interests outside hockey: Being active and going on adventures, taking the pooch to the park, eating good food, hanging out with friends and doing puzzles/brain challenges.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Fly…and time travel!
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Einstein, Julia Roberts and/or Hitler
Favourite Food? Mums crumbed cutlets and mashed potato with Dads gravy!
Name one thing most people won't know about you? I love eating tomato sauce on toast!

Britt Simmons - Elected Board Member
What year did you join CHC? 2002
Board member since: 2023
What is your career/background? Transport Planning & Infrastructure Consulting
Why did you join the Board? I joined the Board as part of my role as the Men's Section Secretary and to ensure ongoing diversity and representation at the Club. Bonus - it's helped consolidate a lot of my roles together!
Hobbies / interests outside hockey: Cooking, Carlton and indoor plants (no surprise - I'm a millennial!)
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Learn Auslan
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Louis Theroux

Marcus Edwards - Junior Chair

What is your career/background? Business owner - software development
Why did you join the Board? Became the Junior Chair

Corinne Lyon - Elected Board Member
What year did you join CHC? I think 2018
Board member since: 2022
What is your career/background? Registered Nurse by background and moved into Executive Healthcare Leadership many years ago
Why did you join the Board? I have been involved with the club as a Master's player for the last few years and wanted to give back to a club that I was very proud to be a member of. I have an executive healthcare leadership background and believed my skills would be of value on the board.
Hobbies / interests outside hockey: Waterskiing and camping
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Ballroom dancing
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Janine Shepherd
