Junior Mentorship Program

After the success of our pilot program last year, we are proud to launch our CHC Junior Mentorship Program, designed to support the development of our junior players while strengthening the connection between our junior and senior sections of the club.

Junior participants will be paired with a senior player mentor who will support their development throughout the season. Mentors will focus on individual skill development, game understanding, preparation, and overall growth as a player.

Our mentors are senior players competing in the club’s top grades across both the CHC women’s and men’s sections. Each mentor brings strong communication skills and a genuine passion for developing junior players.

Mentor allocations will be made with careful consideration of player gender, position, personality, and individual development needs wherever possible.

Eligibility & Selection

  • must be registered junior players with Camberwell Hockey Club.

  • open to feedback, eager to learn, and motivated to develop their game.

  • The number of junior participants within the program will depend on the availability of senior mentors.

  • The program is primarily targeted at U14 players and bottom-age U16 players.

  • Applications outside this group will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
