Episode 1 - Club President Simon Winter

We're excited to announce the Camberwell Hockey Podcast 

During each episode we will cover current topical news and updates from the club and hockey world; and present segments with figures in our club and wider community.

Our objective is to present a casual conversational format with each guest, roaming over topics hockey related and not as the discussion flows.

In episode 1 we feature a conversation with club president Simon Winter covering a wide range of topics including his reflections following his first year in the the role, dealing with the COVID-19 crisis and positive developments the club has implemented such as presenting Mental Health first Aid training to members.

Mental Health First Aid

Each year 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Many people are not knowledgeable or confident to offer assistance. Physical first aid is accepted and widespread in our community, however most do not cover mental health problems. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people the skills to help someone who they're concerned about.

Join the Team

We're looking to recruit members for our hosting team. We have the technical side covered and will supply a microphone headset. All you'll need is a computer, quiet place to record and reasonable internet. 

Each segment you'd record with a guest involves agreeing some common talking points beforehand, setting up a time and simply holding a conversation covering the points and anywhere the discussion leads.
