Episode 4 - Rich Callaghan
April 25th is ANZAC Day. This year it fell on a Saturday which should have been our round 3 Premier League home game against Footscray Hockey Club. The club were working on some special activities to commemorate our servicemen and women; but of-course that wasn't able to happen this season due to COVID19 restrictions.
Rich is a proud serviceman who served on 3 overseas deployments to areas including Afghanistan. Rich was an intimidating goalkeeper with many premierships in the seconds and a State League 1 title in 2000. He also happens to have 2 Karate World Cup titles and is the 6 dan black belt founder and Chief Instructor of Blackburn Karate Club here in Melbourne.
