A prominent business leader, as CEO of the National Australia Bank Don created the number one valued Australian business by capitalisation of the time, lifting the company from 5.5 to 37 billion dollars.

Later as chair of BHP, Don oversaw the sale of the steel division and dual listing with Billiton; increasing market cap throughout his tenure by over 200 billion dollars.

Don is also a Camberwell player, supporter, Camberwell Team of the Centurymember and one of our most successful coaches in history. An enduring influence that helped create the culture, processes and succession that underpin our ongoing success today.
