Reserves v Waverley Win: 2 – 1 – PREMIERS!
Camberwell have handed Waverley a 2-1 defeat in the grand final of the Hockey Victoria Men’s Premier League Reserves. In what was at times a cagey match, two goals to Ollie Will were enough to come from 1-0 behind and clinch the flag. A memorable end to a dominant season - Camberwell scored over 100 goals and didn’t drop a single point on their way to a much deserved premiership.

Camberwell Defeat MCC 4-1 to Secure 2022 Men's Premier League Title
Camberwell have defeated MCC 4-1 in the 2022 Hockey Victoria Men’s Premier League Grand Final. A fast paced, action packed game saw four drag flick goals to man of the match Pat Coates. Camberwell end the year with 19 wins, two draws and one loss, capping off a memorable first full season back with the major premiership.

James Webster Set to Play 300th State League One / Premier League Match
As we approach round 16 of the HV Winter 2022 season, we pause to recognise a significant milestone of one of Camberwell’s most decorated men’s players. This weekend, Jimmy Webster will bring up his 300th match in the top flight of Victorian hockey, another feather in the cap of a rather accomplished career so far.

Pet Wall at Matlock puts a Smile on the Face of Locals
In yet another lockdown, our Mental Health First Aid Group came up with the great idea of displaying beloved pet photos along the boundary of Matlock Reserve with the aim to put smiles on the faces of those who walk past it. The response has been overwhelming with over 300 pet photos on display…and counting.

The year was 1990, the biggest event of that year was the Camberwell Men’s SL1 (PL) team played out an epic grand final against arch rivals Waverley to win the premiership 6-5 in extra time making it 4 premierships in 7 years ( after winning 1984,86,88 & 90)
